Seventh Annual Miniature Golf Tournament
Kingston Sunrise Rotary Club’s Seventh Annual Miniature Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Ascot Park Golf Course, 163 Esopus Avenue, Kingston, New York.
Participants will play 18 holes of miniature golf, enjoy a BBQ dinner and have the chance to win fabulous prizes. Entry fee is only $15.00 per person ($10.00 for children 12 and younger). The tee off time for this family oriented event is 4:30 p.m. with a second tee off time at 6:00 p.m. The winning team of each round will be awarded a trophy.
The tournament proceeds have enabled the Kingston Sunrise Rotary club to contribute to the community. This year, proceeds from the mini golf tournament will be donated to Ulster Literacy Association, which provide adults with effective programs aimed at developing the reading and writing and communication skills necessary in our every changing world. They have helped more than 4,000 Ulster County residents improve their literacy since 1981.
Last year, over $3,000 was raised for the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. During the past year funds were donated for video equipment to the Boy & Girls Club, new steel doors books for needy children and “Service Above Self” scholarship awards for graduating high school students.
